Hadestown (Live 2017 Recording) Album Review

Before it captivated audiences with a large scale production and legendary actors on Broadway, Hadestown was an intimate, “illustrated pop concert” on New York’s Lower East Side. With paired down arrangements and earthy vocals, the 2017 Off-Broadway performance was a stepping stone for one of the great Broadway productions of the last decade.
